One of my user skype and Teams status are not syncing.

I can update the OS if needed the user is just really busy and doesnt want to take the time. Your network connection may be the culprit for this problem. Teams shows green on both devices.

The Mobile App seems to confuse the status update process. If Teams is running in the background and not actively using it although youre actively using other programs so your computer is not idle the status will still be changed to Away after five minutes. If the status is OK in another device it could be caused by the corrupted file in the computer please try to create a new user account as the following article shows and check the results.

I cant just not use it. The machine is running Windows 10 Pro 1909. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device.
